Launching the Wasserman Breast Cancer Risk Reduction Program

In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, 2010, the Wasserman Breast Cancer Risk Reduction Program survey kiosks were dedicated and publicly launched at an intimate ceremony. Now available to women at the Saul and Joyce Brandman Breast Center — A Project of Women’s Guild at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute, the kiosks soon will be present in select locations in Greater Los Angeles. Thanks to the generosity of Lynne Wasserman, the interactive survey kiosks will provide women with an assessment of their risk of developing breast cancer to help them make informed decisions about how to lower their risk.
