Mosenifar Named Geri and Richard Brawerman Chair

Zab Mosenifar, MD, medical director of the Women’s Guild Lung Institute at Cedars-Sinai, was recently named the Geri and Richard Brawerman Chair in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. A dedication ceremony held June 27, 2013, in the Susanne & Ervin Bard Founders Room at the Medical Center commemorated the occasion.

Dr. Mosenifar is among the world’s pre-eminent lung specialists and an admired member of the Cedars-Sinai staff since 1979. The chair’s namesakes, Women’s Guild Vice President Geri Brawerman and her late husband, Richard, have a long philanthropic history with Cedars-Sinai, funding the Geri and Richard Brawerman Nursing Institute and endowing the Geri and Richard Brawerman Chair in Molecular Genetics, among other generous support.
